Welcome to the Southwest Lacrosse Club!
We are a recreational lacrosse club that is committed to growing the sport of lacrosse for all. We are members of the Seattle Metropolitan Youth Lacrosse Association
The typical SMYLA lacrosse season begins in mid-February and goes through early June. Practices are held twice a week and our games are played on Saturdays.
Southwest Lacrosse field teams for the following age groups. Prior lacrosse experience is not necessary for any level.

Team Specific Information
Boys 3rd/4th Grade
The 3/4 age group typically has up to 4 teams with a maximum of 10 players per team. These teams play on a half field in accordance with the Lacrosse Athlete Development Model of US Lacrosse. The club has the following equipment to loan out; sticks, helmets, gloves, chest pads, and elbow pads. Players must provide their own mouth guard, cup, and cleats (soccer cleats are acceptable).
Boys 5th/6th Grade
The 5/6 age group typically has 2 teams, each with 14-17 players per team. Boys 5/6 play on a full field. The club has the following equipment to loan out; sticks, helmets, gloves, chest pads, and elbow pads. Players must provide their own mouth guard, cup, and cleats (soccer cleats are acceptable).
Boys 7th/8th Grade
The 7/8 age group typically has 1 team of 18-20 players per team. Boys 7/8 play on a full field. The club has the following equipment to loan out; sticks, helmets, gloves, chest pads, and elbow pads. Players must provide their own mouth guard, cup, and cleats (soccer cleats are acceptable).
K-2nd Grade Academy
The K-2 age group is a fun introduction to lacrosse with skill-building clinics and does not include formal teams and games. It is open to both boys and girls interested in learning more about the sport. The K-2 program practices once a week where they will learn to play with training sticks and softballs. The club provides all the necessary equipment for the players. The K-2 program typically begins in early April and runs through the end of May.
